Review of Dalya Arazi's Brigitte Prod. Exhibition
It
consists of 4 excerpts while the first one begins with the story of a woman
celebrating her wedding anniversary day and orders a bouquet of very red
flowers exactly as she loves. she's extremely excited because she's preparing
for a very special day. she feels it's important to her sense of release,
celebration of accepting her body, as well as her soul for an event of
realization that she postponed several times, and how strange that at last it
fell exactly on the date of her wedding anniversary day. go figure, the
universe has it's hidden ways, she already knows that for years. she's trying
to figure out why she canceled this event again and again so many times. she
felt that she isn't as desirable as she was once, and she knew that it all
starts within. just a year ago exactly at the same day, she was curled in bed
together with her beloved Efi, and this
year she's alone. and although she's alone she doesn't hesitate to acknowledge
it by saying it out loud.
Everything
was set exactly upon her personal taste and under her own control.
She
knows very well what she likes, what she's attracted to and what she's capable
of. because she knows everything therefore she managed to form with great
perfection her special day for her anniversary
wedding without her notice. from the matching of the pillows color in
green, orange and ochre through the smell of patchouli vanilla tickling her
nose as well as pleasant people to her heart and soul, those who freedom
and trust go hand in hand in harmony on that day, and
she knows it just will, the same way she knew that the flowers she ordered for
herself will be deep red
Again
and again she was looking at the pics of Brigitte Bardot, whom she got from her
stylist, and the eyes of the star in the pictures revealed a lot of
innocence. She always felt that she's
attached to her more then to any other figure. friends around always use to
mention the visual similarities between both, but she felt that it's much more
then just the mirror reflections. she was thinking a lot about her pets who
caressed her soul and knew that its another clear indication to the mentioned
similarity. With her favorite pets she needs no dialog. They look into her eyes
and already understands everything. its a special relation that others barely can
understand, something telepathic with
channeling aspect . they always felt what's she's going through and acted
accordingly. that phenomena amazed her each time again.
The big day had already arrived and she was
extremely excited. she could hardly breathe. it began with a big joy and slowly
moved to an exciting point connected to a woman celebrating itself. she stood
in front of the cam surrounded by powerful natural light and devoted herself to
the experience. as if the woman who began her day with buying very red flowers
is the woman who's celebrating herself with very red flowers is having thrills
for letting her current being to flow and flourish.
